Born from a desire to find a unique, functional, and fun summer bag, our founder, Phebe, turned a vision of a classic market tote into a full-blown lifestyle brand. Each bag is hand-woven by artisans in Morrocco, then painted and customized in Charleston with care. Over the years, our collections have grown, but the heart of B&G remains: craftsmanship, individuality, and coastal charm.
The Classic Painted Collection
The original hand-painted collection is what started and grew Breck and Grier! Each tote is customized and painted just for you! Pick your favorite colors and choose a name, initials, zipcode, etc.! Totes take 3-4 weeks to be completed.
I started Breck and Grier when I came up empty handed trying to find a unique, functional (and fun!), summer bag. So I imagined a classic market tote, added a signature hand-painted stripe and a chic personalized monogram, et voilà, Breck and Grier was born!
Each tote is hand-crafted by artisans in Morocco and over the years our collections have grown to include different styles, personalizations, and detailing. Breck and Grier is designed to take you from the farmer’s market, to the beach, brunch with friends, or a date night in town!
